Cutting
WIRE SAWING
Concrete wire sawing is an innovative concrete-sawing technique used for particularly challenging projects where traditional saws are not effective.
Wire saws consist of a thin wire that cuts via the use of abrasion. The wire is impregnated with diamonds, enabling it to cut through almost any material at any depth.
Versatility is a wire saw’s greatest feature. Very often, materials are simply too strong, too large, or your workspace is too confined for a traditional concrete saw. In those cases, a diamond wire saw is more than capable of completing the project. Due to its diamond cutting edge, the wire saw is ideal for segmenting or removing large chunks of reinforced concrete that other saws simply cannot manage.
The wire saws can also be configured to tackle such obstacles as steel nuclear reactors or metal engine blocks. This High Frequency Wire Saw can be mounted on both sides of the track and the direction of the wire is reversible. We can saw both vertically and horizontally. When making cuts we use water to cool the wire and suppress the dust.
Wall Sawing
Wall sawing is when a circular blade is used on a track mounted high frequency driver head.
The track is attached to walls or steep inclines that will not permit the use of road saws. The High Frequency Wall Saw’s blades direction of rotation can be adjusted by the wireless remote control which gives water spray in the desired direction. Symmetric track and carriage enable sawing on both sides of the track.
Concrete Wall sawing units are driven by 3-phase electric power packs and can cut up to 700mm thick concrete. provides horizontal and vertical cuts for concrete walls, blocks, or bricks.
We pride ourselves on making clean openings for windows, door and duct openings and precision flush cutting.
Floor Sawing
Floor saws are used extensively on roads and motorways to cut asphalt and concrete cleanly and quickly to enable efficient repairs and alterations to be carried out to these surfaces.
The advantages of the floor saw over the track/wall saw is that it does not require any setting up time, has its own power unit and is a very rapid cutting machine. For roads, runways, stress cuts, decorative cuts, warehouse aprons and ground floors, this machine is ideal.
Our biggest cutting depth reaches 630mm, although greater depths have been cut, depending on the blade and guard size.
Floor Sawing is highly versatile thanks to its high output, compact size, and manoeuvrability.
Hand Sawing
We have a range of different options and capabilities when it comes to hand sawing, from petrol saws, to high frequency ring saws, we have the right tool for any job.
High Frequency Hand Saw
High frequency Ring Saw
Our high frequency concrete ring saw has the option of a single or 3 phase operation. Water-cooled, wet & dry application. High output, low system weight, well-balanced body and low vibration levels make this machine very efficient.
Concrete Ring sawing is similar to that of hand sawing but is capable of cutting much deeper depths thanks to the elimination of the rotary blade. Ring saws are commonly used for smaller scale jobs due to their increased mobility.
Our ring saws are fume-less, which is beneficial when working in confined areas that may not be well ventilated.
Ring saw concrete cutting is carried out in a highly controlled manner with absolutely no dust in the process using a wet blade to control the dust.
Ring Sawing is used for:
- Double brick walls
- Staircases
- Door and window openings
- Concrete footings
- In applications where cutting concrete or brick that is thicker with a max depth of 300mm
Petrol Hand Saw
Our Hand Saw can cut to depths of up to 150 mm and can cut through very hard materials. They also offer a good degree of precision
Petrol Ring Saw
Ring Sawing is used for:
- Double brick walls
- Staircases
- Door and window openings
- Concrete footings
- In applications where cutting concrete or brick that is thicker with a max depth of 300mm
Cut and Break
Our Cut-n-Break Saw is petrol driven, Cutting depth of 400 mm max.
Cut-n-Break is the natural cost-efficient cutting choice for when we need to cut deep without overcutting at the corners.
The two high-speed blades make a core in the saw cut, which can then easily be broken off using the breaking tool which enables us to work our way through the material with ease.
Bar Saw
Our Bar Saw is equipped with high frequency prime technology that cuts up to 450 mm deep, it is a wet cut only; making it a very powerful electric chain cutter.
The high-power output, well-balanced body and low vibrations make this machine very efficient and easy to use. This machine is a great complement to wall saws to avoid over-cutting at corners, we also use this saw to cut square openings in walls for ducts.
concrete shaver
Our Floor Shaver is a self-propelled unit which is capable of shaving a pre-determined amount of concrete from structures by using diamond blades. The shaving diamond blades are mounted on specially designed drum which rotates during operation.
This model is capable of shaving a 250mm width and up to 12.5mm depth with each pass; 36sqm per hour. The system produces completely smooth finished surfaces, while no damage is conveyed to the surrounding material; smooth and even for repainting or reuse.
